Up North Carved Rustic Log Bed

• Custom metal bed frame – We have discovered that standard bed side rails are not designed to stand the weight and the torque of heavy log beds. They are made from thin metal and not very sturdy. We had a local metal worker design and manufacture side rails that would meet our standard for this log bed. What a difference!
• We use only hand selected logs - When we buy our logs to make your bed, we actually hand pick them. Many companies just order them to be delivered by the bunk in quantities and try to use all of them. We actually go to our log sources, sort them first, and then buy them. This is a bit more work, but we have less waste (savings for you!) and are not tempted to use the inferior pieces that are found in some log furniture.
• We finish most of our log bedroom furniture ourselves – Once again, having ultimate control in quality sets us apart in this industry. Most log furniture dealers are only the middle men and simply sell what is passed on to them. Some never even see the product. We properly prepare your bed insuring you a quality finish on your log bed. We use an environmentally friendly acrylic finish in clear or honey pine.
• Our low overhead costs mean savings for you - Because we operate in a smaller shop, we don’t have to inflate your cost to cover the operating expenses of larger factories.
