This rustic white cedar bed has all of the character you need to complete a bedroom setting in your log home. The shape and style of the tree hasn't been altered a bit with only the bark having been taken off and sanded smooth to the touch. The knots and natural imperfections remain. Mortise and tendon joinery are used in the head and footboards and also to connect the headboard and footboards to the legs. The pieces are then screwed together for strength. The crosspieces are attached to the legs via mortise and tendon joinery and then 6" lag bolts are used to hold the bed securely together.

This log bed comes complete with a headboard, footboard, four side rails and cross pieces for supporting your boxspring. Standard size mattresses fit these beds. Please note that standard King mattress measures 76" x 80" and a California King mattress is 72" x 84". Make sure you have made the proper selection. The approximate overall measurements are as follows:

Height: Headboard 55" high & Footboard 40" high

Twin: 49" wide x 86" long
Full: 64" wide x 86" long
Queen: 71" wide x 91" long
King: 87" wide x 91" long
California King: 83"wide x 95" long
