At Great Lakes Rustics LLC we search to find the fastest, safest, most cost saving method available to deliver our products to your door. We ship via UPS when the product is within the limit for size and weight, and truck freight for the larger and heavier products. When sent truck freight, the carrier will call the day before delivery to arrange a time for someone to be available to receive the products. Please remember that if it is sent truck freight that the product is large, awkward to carry and heavy. You will need more than one person to unload! It is standard freight company policy to only get the product to the back of the truck for liability reasons. They will not unload the product or carry the product into your house and they are not required to under the terms of the shipping agreement!

If product is in stock, shipment usually takes 5 to 10 days depending on how busy we are and the distance the product has to travel. All Amish items are made to order. The made to order products take 4-6 weeks to be built and be delivered. If we are informed that there will be any delay, we will contact you by phone or e-mail.

Always inspect your shipment immediately, while the truck is still there to be sure there are no damages. If the truck driver will not wait for you to inspect the shipment you must note on the freight bill, "Driver would not wait for inspection." Do not sign for it if it is damaged. It will be sent back at no charge to you and we will replace it. Please call and report all delivery problems immediately.
